Aiming for Lunar Lobster

Delightful ain't it? Nothing drastic has happened with regard to our ICT for more than half a year.
But yes, somewhere it will start to itch. In the background, I am step by step, busy activating Drupal 10. But that's a long way off, starting with finding a theme.
My home server runs just fine, with very few problems.
The web server runs fine at Vimexx.

A few days ago a new problem suddenly came by. The usual update procedure of Ubuntu on the home server suddenly faltered. The version of the latest kernel (5.15.0.76) that was to be installed was not sufficiently supported. That led to error messages... Then you start googling and you discover that more people run into it. And then the question arises of why Ubuntu is so slow in upgrading the kernel because they are already quite a few versions behind. In the end, I downloaded and activated a new kernel version (6.4.0) myself. Fine! Ran like the proverbial charm. There was only one problem with it... The most recent kernels you obtain in this way don't compile with ZFS... So that didn't do anything, apart from complaining about the invalidity of the zfs modules. And that's quite annoying if all your stuff is on a ZFS-Raid... So back to the previous kernel. Meanwhile, Ubuntu had adjusted the update procedure for 5.15.0.76. So everything was fine again... But something like that makes you think.

I was running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. But in the meantime, version 22.10 was also available. That's not LTS then, no, but long before the support on that version disappears, I'll have the next one running. And when I finally got into 22.10 (it took a damn long time, but yes...) then it was immediately reported that version 23.04 ("Lunar Lobster") is also available. Hooray, nice job for this morning... I wonder if Virtualmin will like all that, but we'll see about that later... The first signals from Virtualmin are positive, in any case!
